I have worked with organisations such as the NHS; community organising charities; training institutes; professional conference organisers; professional collectives and networks; schools and e-learning colleges in several capacities:
delivering trainings, talks and presentations
running workshops
developing courses
holding reflective practice groups
setting up therapeutic services
evaluating and developing therapeutic services
setting up mental health support drop-in community spaces
creating and running professional network groups
mentoring and tutoring trainees
collaborative arts-based projects
Some of these projects were one-off collaborations and some have run over many years.
All my work is neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ aligned, based in trauma informed best practice principles, and aims to normalise mental ill-health thorough the arts. I believe universal design provides a base of equity and belonging for everyone; and I seek to contribute to addressing social injustice, with compassion, fierce vulnerably and a lifelong commitment to personal reflexive work.
